You must read these Website Terms carefully, and we recommend that you print and keep a copy for your future reference. By accessing, browsing, using or registering with the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Website Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree to these Website Terms in their entirety, you must not use the Website. The processing of your payment and acknowledgment of your order does not constitute legal acceptance of your order. We are determined to provide the most accurate pricing information on the Site to our users; however, errors may still occur, which may result in the price of an item is not displayed incorrectly on the website. As such, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order.

Those who choose to access this Website from locations outside Saudi Arabia are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent local laws are applicable.

Delivery Terms and Conditions

Delivery Fees

Free Delivery Threshold: Enjoy free delivery across the Kingdom for orders exceeding SAR 200 when paying via credit card, Mada, Tabby, or Tamara.

Delivery Fees: Orders below SAR 200 will incur a delivery fee of SAR 30. Orders below SAR 100 will incur a delivery fee of SAR 60.

Delivery Timeframe

Products will be delivered and installed within 3-7 business days, with delivery slots scheduled between 3 PM and 10 PM daily, excluding Fridays and public holidays. Abdul Latif Jameel Electronics is committed to adhering to the specified timeframe; however, in the event of any unforeseen delays, customers will be promptly notified, and necessary measures will be taken to minimize the impact of the delay.

For purchases made at Abdul Latif Jameel Electronics showrooms, products will be delivered and installed within 3-5 business days from the invoice date upon customer approval. Delivery times are from 3 PM to 10 PM. Free delivery for certain items is offered once only at the agreed-upon time, and additional charges may apply if the customer is unavailable on the scheduled delivery date.

If purchasing from an Abdul Latif Jameel Electronics showroom, the company reserves the right to cancel the invoice and refund the customer if the products are not received within seven (7) days of purchase. The showroom has the right to reassign or sell the products to another customer.

Logistics Partners

Deliveries will be handled by our trusted logistics partners - Naqel, Flow Logistics, or Tadabir - ensuring direct delivery to your doorstep anywhere in the Kingdom.

Delivery Notification

Customers will be contacted by our delivery partner once the order is out for delivery. If there is no response, the delivery will be rescheduled for the next available date.

Ownership and Responsibility

Upon product delivery, the customer must sign a product receipt notice. The receipt notice signifies acknowledgment of the product's condition and the transfer of ownership from the site to the customer. Therefore, we advise customers to inspect the product before signing the receipt notice. In case of any issues, missing accessories, or damages, please report through our support channels within 3 business days.

By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to comply with these delivery terms and conditions. We strive to provide you with a seamless shopping experience and ensure your satisfaction with every delivery.

Note: Accepting the shipment confirms the integrity of the purchase. Signing the receipt notice confirms that the products have been received in good condition. The site holds no responsibility for delays or failures in delivery caused by unforeseen events such as wars, natural disasters, or government actions.

Order Cancellation

The order cancellation process is designed to be hassle-free:

  • Cancellation Methods: You can cancel your order by clicking the "Cancel Order" button, contacting us at 8001279999, or via the contact page.

  • Refund Process: Refunds for canceled orders depend on the payment method used. Typically, refunds are processed back to the payment card within 7 to 14 business days, according to each bank's policy.

  • Cancellation Fees: Cancellation fees may apply, depending on the order stage, payment method, and courier fees, which are determined based on the item's weight and delivery distance.

  • Out-of-Stock Items: If any product is out of stock, we will cancel the order immediately, refund the paid amount, and keep you informed.

  • Our Right to Cancel: Abdul Latif Jameel Electronics reserves the right to cancel orders under unforeseen circumstances, such as product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspicious activities. Such cancellations will include a full refund with notification.

  • Policy Updates: Our cancellation policy may change, and updates will take effect when posted on our website.

Return and Exchange Policy

  • The customer has the right to exchange or return a product purchased through the website within 7 days of receiving the product.
  • For purchases from Abdul Latif Jameel showrooms, the customer can exchange within 3 days of purchase and return within 7 days of purchase.
  • The original purchase invoice must be presented during the exchange or return.
  • Products can be exchanged or returned if they are in their original condition, factory-sealed, and unopened.
  • The original packaging, along with all accessories and user manuals, must be included. If the product was purchased with a free gift, the free product must also be returned.
  • For bundled products, the entire package must be returned intact.

Exchange and Return for Faulty or Defective Products

A product with a manufacturing defect can be exchanged or returned within 7 days of receipt under the following conditions:

  • The device must be free of scratches or misuse.
  • The original packaging, along with all accessories and user manuals, must be included. If the product was purchased with a free gift, the free product must also be returned.
  • A technical report from an authorized service center proving the manufacturing defect must be provided.
  • Products cannot be exchanged or returned if a defect or fault is found after 7 days of purchase. The customer must contact the authorized service agent in such cases.

Products Eligible for Return and Exchange

Customers can return or exchange any purchases from the Abdul Latif Jameel Electronics website or showrooms except for the following products:

  • Software and video games are non-returnable or exchangeable.
  • Electronics such as phones, computers, gaming devices, and routers can only be returned or exchanged in case of non-software manufacturing issues. Factory-sealed products are excluded from this rule.
  • Activated cards, vouchers, and data cards are non-returnable or exchangeable.
  • Printers, inks, photography tools, fax machines, imported items, or accessories can only be returned or exchanged if there is a manufacturing defect.
  • Used or installed products can only be returned or exchanged if a manufacturing defect is present.
  • For health reasons, products like shavers, hair removal devices, and headphones can only be returned or exchanged in case of a manufacturing defect.
  • Products with damages due to misuse, such as breaks, scratches, or tampering, are non-returnable or exchangeable.
  • Products purchased through installment plans can only be exchanged with products of the same value.
  • Products sold with an invoice can only be exchanged or returned with products of the same value.

Special Return and Exchange Cases:

If the delivery was made via home delivery service, contact customer service at 8001279999 for collection arrangements. Collection fees will depend on the distance and weight of the items, except for returns due to defects within 7 days of receipt or manufacturing defects.

For online purchases, contact customer service for further procedures.

The customer bears the costs of returning or exchanging the product based on its location and nature.

Refunds:

If the return is accepted, refunds will be processed based on the payment method used. For purchases made with multiple payment cards, refunds will take 7 to 14 days, depending on the bank’s policy.

Exchange Procedures:

If the exchange is accepted, a collection and delivery process will be arranged depending on the product type and location. If alternatives are unavailable, products of the same value will be offered, considering price differences.

Warranty Policy

All electronic and electrical devices from Abdul Latif Jameel Electronics stores come with a minimum 2-year warranty, subject to the terms and conditions of the warranty policy, except for accessories and their components.

Installation Terms & Conditions

General Terms

  • Installation services are free for air conditioners and home appliances within 7 days of the purchase date. If delayed, installation will incur additional fees, which will be determined later.
  • Customers must provide water connections for dishwashers and washing machines, as well as a drainage system at the installation site. (The installation team is not responsible for plumbing and electrical work.)

Additional Terms for Air Conditioner Installation

  • The installation site for split air conditioners must not exceed a height of 4 meters from the ground. Necessary and essential extensions for installation must be available, with safety requirements met at the site. The cost of scaffolding is not included in the free installation service.
  • Additional water drainage pipes exceeding 5 meters in length will be charged at 20 SAR per meter. Additional copper pipes exceeding 4.5 meters in length will be charged at 80 SAR per meter, including insulation and electrical wiring.
  • Customers must provide water connections and drainage systems for dishwashers and washing machines at the site. (The company is not responsible for plumbing or electrical work.)
  • Installation is guaranteed for 90 days starting from the installation date.

Additional Terms for Built-in Appliance Installation

  • Installation of built-in products is free in the following areas only: Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Mecca, Medina, Abha, Al-Jouf, Al-Qassim, Jazan, Tabuk, Taif, and Yanbu.
  • The company's responsibility is limited to installing the appliances. Customers must prepare the site for installation, including plumbing, electrical extensions, ventilation, and other requirements as specified in the user manual and by the installation technician.
  • Installation of wooden doors for built-in refrigerators, washing machines, and dishwashers is the responsibility of the kitchen contractor and not the company.
  • Installation is guaranteed for 90 days starting from the installation date.

Maintenance Policy

Abdul Latif Jameel Electronics & Air Conditioning Co. Ltd. Keens to provide professional after-sales services to Valued Customers, including maintenance, spare parts and ensuring the manufacturing quality in accordance with the applicable regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Commerce in Saudi Arabia. In this regard, Company has developed service, spare parts and quality assurance policies that governs the relationship between the company and its customers, as follows: -

Service Policy:

  1. Customer Shall request service by calling the unified Toll-Free number 8001279999 or by visiting any of company’s Service center Branches.

  2. The list of brands covered by Abdul Latif Jameel Electronics’ maintenance services includes Toshiba (excluding air conditioners), Sharp, Dora, Alto, and White Westinghouse. & For other brands in which purchased from our showrooms, Customer should contact the local authorized agent. The contact information for this agent can be obtained by calling the company’s unified Toll-Free number 8001279999, where customer service representatives will provide all required details.

  3. Maintenance will begin within 7 days of receiving the service request made through the above-mentioned channels by Valued Customer.

  4. The maximum repair time is 15 days from the date of the customer’s request (excluding time required for obtaining spare parts).

  5. The customer should collect the repaired product within Maximum (Thirty Days) from the date of notifying Customer with the repair completion of his product. & Company will not be responsible for the product after this period if the customer didn’t Collect his repaired Product.

  6. In the case of home visits, the customer should ensure safe access to the product which needed to be repaired, complying with safety and security measures. This includes providing additional scaffolding, removing décor, false ceilings, or any obstructions that may hinder safe access.

  7. Abdul Latif Jameel reserves the right to make final decisions regarding the identification of the problem and the appropriate service option.

Spare Parts Provision and Return/Exchange Policy

A. Spare Parts Provision:

  1. The Customer has the right to inspect replaced parts under warranty, and such parts remain the property of the company. For parts replaced outside the warranty, they will be handed over to the customer unless they are harmful or environmentally prohibited, in which case the company will dispose of them.

  2. Rare spare parts to be provided within 14 days of the consumer’s request, unless the parts are custom-made for the customer or have special specifications, in which case the provision period will be mutually agreed upon by the company and the customer.

  3. The company is not responsible for providing maintenance, spare parts, or guaranteeing the quality of products that have exceeded their lifespan. The expected lifespan varies from product to other.

B. Return and Exchange of Spare Parts Sales:

  1. Returns or exchanges should be made within 3 days from the invoice date, and the customer should present the original VAT invoice to the company to be eligible for return or exchange.

  2. The spare part being returned or exchanged should be in its original packaging and free of any scratches, damage or alterations.

  3. The above return/exchange conditions do not apply to compressors or any parts containing electronic circuits (e.g., electronic boards), as they are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

  4. Refunds will be made via the same payment method used, If the purchase is made in cash, the refund will be in cash & if the purchase is made via a payment card or bank transfer, the refund will be processed via a bank transfer to the customer’s Bank account within 7 to 14 working days, depending on the customer’s bank.

Warranty Policy

  1. The company Guarantees the quality of the product for two years from the invoice purchase date covering labor and spare parts. However, accessories and attachments are not covered under the warranty.

  2. The customer should provide the original VAT invoice from Abdul Latif Jameel Showrooms or local distributors to avail the product’s warranty.

  3. For maintenance requests outside the warranty period, the customer is required to pay advanced inspection fees before the company carries out the inspection. The inspection fees are as follows: 1. Big Home Appliances: SR 230 including VAT. 2. Small Domestic Appliances (Water dispenser and Smaller Products that the customer Must Carry in & bring to the service center): 115 SAR including VAT. *Note: The inspection fee is non-refundable if the customer refuses to proceed with the maintenance after inspection. However, if the customer agrees to proceed with the maintenance and pays for repairs and spare parts charges, the inspection fee will be deducted from the total Service Charges.

  4. After the product warranty ends, the extended compressor warranty covers only the spare part (the compressor) & not Covering the inspection fees, labor charges, compressor replacement materials or refrigerant Gas Charging.

  5. The repair warranty for products within the warranty period is valid until the end of the warranty or 30 days from the completion of the maintenance.

  6. The repair warranty for products outside the warranty is valid for 30 days from the completion of the maintenance.

General Exceptions Not Covered by Warranty:

  1. Faults or damages caused by misuse, failure to follow usage instructions, negligence, accidents, vandalism, fire, or unauthorized repairs not recommended by the manufacturer.

  2. If serial numbers, model numbers, or invoice data are tampered with, changed or adjusted.

  3. Defects caused due to wrong installation by a distributor, or third party in which not performed/ Authorized by Abdul Latif Jameel Electronics, the Company reserves the right to charge for repairs and refrigerant Gas Charging Fees.

  4. Paint defects, scratches, and issues arising from unauthorized installation or modifications not licensed by the manufacturer.

  5. The warranty doesn’t cover damage caused by the product being used for commercial purposes, (Such as Laundries, Restaurants, Hotels, …etc.), As Residential Home appliances differ significantly from Commercial appliances (e.g., washing machines, ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, dryers, etc.). The customer should refer to the user manual before any commercial use.

  6. Failure to regularly clean pumps, filters, or gas burners. In such cases, repair costs will be borne by the customer.

  7. Improper use of the appliance, as determined by an authorized technician or service center.

  8. Incorrect installation by an unauthorized party.

  9. Accidents or natural disasters.

  10. Voltage fluctuations or electrical instability.

  11. The warranty does not include:

    • Cleaning filters, air conditioners, or external and internal accessories.
    • Discoloration, rust, or yellowing of stainless steel caused by harmful cleaning chemicals or installation before properly cleaning marble dust or other residues.
    • Products used for commercial or industrial purposes, as the warranty is only valid for household use.
  12. The warranty is void if:

    • Repairs are performed by unauthorized personnel.
    • The purchase invoice is altered or unavailable.
    • A gas regulator is not installed, or if a regulator exceeding 50 mbar pressure is used.
    • Kitchen cabinets do not have proper ventilation for built-in ovens, refrigerators, or freezers, as stated in the user manual.
    • Spare parts are purchased directly and installed by unauthorized technicians.
